View of downtown Perth from King’s Park, 2004
I was just a little bit late for the best wildflower viewing in King’s Park, but there were still lots of kangaroo’s paws and other Australian wildflowers in full, glorious bloom.
King’s Park, perched on the side of a hill, is located in the center of Perth. There is a section of it that is nicely manicured, in the traditional European botanical garden style, but large areas of it remain wild scrub.
