On this 2006 trip to Grand Rapids, I was finally able to accomplish a long-standing goal – to visit the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.  I had wanted to go in the past, but Beth had always put me off, saying it wasn’t worth the trip.  This year she finally acquiesced, and we had a nice wander down memory lane, she admiring all the Oliphant cartoons, and me recalling the political and cultural climate of the 70s.

.....And yes, the fashions from the 70s were just as hideous as I remembered them!
