Annual photo of the kids

The family got together for our Ukrainian Orthodox Easter celebration, which, in 2004, coincided with everyone else's. Because the holiday came so early in the spring, it was still quite cold outside. Despite this cold weather, I tried to take the annual kid photo (many takes), and the kids had fun playing outside.

My friend Jeff (from Nicaragua) and his son Kieran (from England) were staying with me at the time, despite warnings that April really isn’t the ideal time to visit Michigan.  They came to dinner, too, and had a nice time.
