Ukraine 1940s
These are the only photos my father’s family brought with them from Ukraine. The first two are of his older brother, Oleksandr. One is a portrait taken in his youth, the other shows him in his army uniform. The last photo is one taken of them in Halychyna, as they were traveling out of Ukraine, just ahead of the Red Army.
